Remembering the Greats: Todd Koos, Harlan

(Harlan) Options were plentiful for this week’s Remembering the Greats series. Our featured broadcast on Friday night is Harlan hosting Lewis Central which means we dove into the Cyclone record books for one of the best to ever put on the cleats for Harlan.

As mentioned, the list of terrific players over the years for this storied program is vast. The talent pool includes five hall of fame players: Billy Cundiff, Todd Bladt, Perry Sibenaller, Michael Burger, and Todd Koos. Fortunately, KSOM Sports was able to get lined up with Koos who will be the halftime guest during Friday’s football game coverage.

Koos was a part of multiple state championship teams in the 1980’s and went into the IHSAA Player’s Hall of Fame in 2006. After high school he moved on to play at Morningside where a shoulder injury moved his focus to baseball.  He was a two time all-conference performer and school record holder .

Today he runs a physical therapy business in Charlotte, NC. His private practice has four locations and focuses on body, soul, mind, and spirit. He’s married with three girls and one son ranging in ages from 9-14.
