(Corning) The Southwest Valley boys golf team fired a 172-stroke team total Tuesday to top both CAM and Southwest Iowa in a triangular format. The Timberwolves took home all of the hardware as Evan Baldwin (40) medaled and Ryan Carlson (41) was runner-up on the par 33 course. Drey Barton was beneficial to the team score with 43 while the squad also counted Lane Petersen's 48.
SWI was led by Dylan Lucas's 45 and Gavin Driskell's 48 while CAM also had two in the 40's, Brady Runyan (43) and Logan Dinkla (48). CAM and SWI each finished with boys team totals of 195.
In girls, SW Valley got the win with a 203 as SWI shot 233 and CAM had just one competitor. Kelsie Kinman, of SW Valley was medalist with a 46. Runner-up Medalist was Sabrina Hernandez (50) of SWI. CAM's lone golfer was Katie Aupperle who shot a 54.
