(Shenandoah) Evan Schuler (pictured) shot a three under par 67 to lead Atlantic to the team title at the Shenandoah boy’s golf tournament Tuesday afternoon. The senior shot under par for his third straight round in as many tries this season. He fired a one under par 32, at Atlantic, one under par 31 at Pine Valley in Creston and now a -3 at the 18-hole tournament in Shenandoah.

“A three under 67 is just a great score and it’s nice to see him staying under par,” stated Atlantic Head Coach Ed Denbeste. “He had one bogey, four birdies, and everything else pars. He just hit the ball really well.”

Atlantic won the team title with a 309. Sam Renaud shot a 79 and finished 7th overall.

“Sam Renaud’s 79 is a great score for him and I was glad to see him finish below 80,” Denbeste said.

Cooper Zablocki carded an 81 and Jake Olsen shot and 82 to finish 10th and 15th place respectively.

“If we can shoot two in the 70’s and two in the low eighties we are going to do really well in tournaments,” said Denbeste.

Nodaway Valley won the small school division with a 334.
