(Audubon) The Audubon Wheelers posted several strong performances on the Carroll track Tuesday night. The Wheeler girls won three events on their way to a 4th place team finish. A pair of 2nd place finishes highlighted the boys portion of the meet for Audubon.
Emma Konkler took home two individual titles Tuesday night. She won the 100 Meter Dash in 13.77 and the 200 Meter Dash in 28.77. Audubon's other win came in the distance medley with a time of 4:57.87. Three runner-up finishes also bolstered the girls team score. Megan Deist finshed 2nd in the 800 Meters running it in 2:34.99. The 4X100 Meter Relay's time of 55.96 was good enough for 2nd place as was Courtney Rudolph's distance of 14-03.5 in the Long Jump.
Some of the boys highlights included 2nd place finishes in both the Shuttle Hurdle (1:03.86) and Long Jump with Colby Rattenborg jumping 20-03.5. Rattenborg was just a half inch away form champion Will Whiton of Perry. Additionally, Rattenborg finished 3rd in the 100 in 12.11 and Mitchell Nelsen was 3rd 110 Highs at 17.10.
