(Griswold) Griswold track coach Jane Chaillie says Tuesday's early bird meet at Audubon was a great way for her team to get the season started.
After months of practice, the team was ready to test themselves on the track, and Chaillie adds that the competition will only help to drive them in the upcoming practices.
The Tiger's won three events in Audubon Tuesday with Mason Boucher in the discus, Grant Haynes in the 200, and the group of Kenneth Clary, Haynes, Jacob Maass, and Jordan Vetter in the distance medley relay.
Other top performanced came from Clary in the 100 who finished as a runner up. Derek Kirchhoff, Boucher, Haynes, and Clary teamed up in the 4X100 to place 2nd in 1:38.89. Tyler DeWitt had a third place running in the 800 meters.
