(Ames) The 14th ranked Iowa State Women's basketball team stayed undefeated with an 85-65 win over William and Mary Sunday. Exira graduate Hallie Christofferson scored 11 points on 3-8 shooting from the field and 5-6 shooting from the free-throw line. She also collected five rebounds and had 2 assists in 24 minutes of play.
This marks the 3rd time in ISU Women's basketball history that they've finished non-conference play undefeated. Christofferson's season stats now stand at 21.8 points per game and 7.9 rebounds per game. She is shooting 53.1% from the floor, 33.3% from the 3-point line, and 85.3% on free-throws.
Other area prep players that saw playing time Sunday included Lexi Albrecht, of Kuemper Catholic, Elly Arganbright, of Panorama, and Ashley Hagedorn, of IKM-Manning. Albrecht and Arganbright each played 8 minutes. Albrecht went scoreless but had 2 rebounds. Arganbright scored 2 points with 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Hagedorn played 12 minutes finishing with three points on 1-5 shooting.
