(Carroll) Atlantic rolled past Carroll 66-29, in a girls basketball game at Carroll Monday night.
The Tigers kept it close early with four first quarter three-point shots which kept them in the Trojans rear view mirror. However, Atlantic stepped on the gas after that and outscored the Tigers 46-14 last final three stanzas to win 66-29.
Three players finished in double figures for Atlantic. Freshman Catherine Leonard led the way with 16-points. Leonard is now 15-15 from the free throw line the last two outings. Erin Olsen and Tiffany Williams added 15 each, and Megan Reilly chipped in eigth-points.
Carroll was led by Sarah Steffen's nine points and Emma Borchers added eight points for the 0-2 Tigers. Atlantic moves to 1-2 on the season and hosts St. Albert Friday night.
