(Audubon) A big second quarter lifted Audubon past Guthrie Center 59-34 in a girls basketball game Monday night at Audubon. Guthrie Center kept is close early trailing the Wheelers 10-8 after one quarter. However, the second quarter was a different story.
Audubon scored 27-second quarter points. Wheeler Head Coach Kim Subbert says the press was the main reason for the big run.
Coach Subbert was most impressed with his teams opening game effort.
And he says rebounding and high percentage shooting will be a point of emphasis in practice this week.
