(Harlan) With a clean sweep of #11 Lewis Central the top ranked Harlan volleyball team punched their ticket to Cedar Rapids once again. Harlan will play a LeMars team that upended traditional power Bishop Heelan Catholic in the regional finals.
Coach Angie Spangenburg says it was an all-around good team win. The hitters came out aggressive, setter Kenzie Swenson put the ball on target, and the back row posted 47 digs according to coach Spangenburg.
Harlan takes a 34-4 record into the state meet. The Cyclones have suffered first round losses in their previous two state trips. They'll face a LeMars team with a record of 24-12. The match will air on KSOM at 4:00 on Tuesday, November 12th.
