(Elk Horn) Exira-EHK will be able to field a full girls cross country team this year. Head Coach Terry Weisenborn says it’s been at least ten years since the numbers have been that high.
Eight girls are out for cross country led by Claire Paulsen who has state meet experience.
Others include Sidney Parker, Josephine Nielsen, Emily Koppek, Abriana Hagg, Savannah Hayes, and Gabby Bintner. Additionally, Grace Hoflen will be splitting time between volleyball and cross country.
On the boys side it’s Cole Britton as the lone runner out. Exira-EHK’s first meet will be September 10th at Treynor.
