(Griswold) Entering the 2013 football season the leading returning rushing in Class A football hails from Griswold. That’s Kenneth Clary who rumbled for 1,528 yards and 18 touchdowns a year ago. Clary is one of several key rushers returning for the Tigers this season.
In fact Griswold brings back three of their top four rushers from a season ago. Leading rusher Kenneth Clary is now a senior and is joined by fellow senior Tyler Muhlbauer and junior Caleb Schaaf on the list of options for the Tiger’s versatile rushing attack.
Last year saw the team win five of their last six regular season games and make a strong push in the playoffs. Head Coach Andy Everett said the success of last year’s 7-5 team has driven the squad to a very good off-season as they are hungry for more success.
Griswold opens the season at St. Albert a week from Friday.
