(Guthrie Center) The Guthrie Center football team carried the momentum of three straight wins to end the 2012 regular season into the first week of practice for the 2013 season.
That's according to head coach Bob Bolton, who says the team is operating with a lot of confidence and enthusiasm. A long list of senior two-way starters led the team to the weight room this summer. Coach Bolton says the off-season workouts were among the best he's scene in his time at Guthrie Center.
Only three seniors gradute from last year's 3-6 squad. Coach Bolton raves about returning running back and defensive end Austin Laabs who was an all-district performer on defense a year ago. He's also excited to have Curtis Bolton back for his third year as a starter at quarterback.
