(Neola) Tri-Center improved to 11-10 overall this season with a 13-3 win at Audubon Monday night. The Trojans have won three straight games including a big win over Treynor late last week.
Britton Barrier and Marty Dollen each had two hits in the Audubon win. Dollen blasted his first career home run and Wes Zimmerman drove in four runs in the game. Taylor Nelson pitched the win for the Trojans.
It's been somewhat of a streaky season for Tri-Center who started off the year with a big win over Glenwood and sat at 5-1 through the first two weeks of the season. They'll have a pair of good non-conference contests coming up the rest of the week with Exira-EHK and Harlan. The team will also play IKM-Manning next week before starting the district tournament.
