(Atlantic) The narrowest of margins separated team champion Griswold from runner-up Treynor at the 2013 Western Iowa Conference Boys Golf Tournament. Griswold totalled 329 compared to Treynor's 330. 3rd place was Riverside, the Bulldogs were just seven strokes off the lead. Tri-Center (4th, 347) and Underwood (5th, 365) finished in the middle of the pack while Audubon, Missouri Valley, and AHST rounded out the field.

Leading the charge for Griswold were the Reynolds Brothers who finished 3rd and 4th individually. James Reynolds shot a 77 while brother Jake carded a 78 which their head coach described as a difference maker afterwards. Other scores for the Tigers counting to the team total had Treighton Oakleaf and Tyrel Peters each shooting 87.
In addition to the Reynolds duo finishing in the top six, Eric Rock of Riverside was the Medalist, Nate Hill of Treynor finished 2nd, Trey Robinson of Treynor was 5th, and Riverside's Tim Brink placed 6th. Rock won in fairly comfortable fashion, his 71 was five strokes better than the nearest competitor.
