(Anita) It came down to a playoff for the Rolling Hills Conference boys golf individual championship and Adair-Casey's Jon Smiley edged Ankeny Christian Academy to place first in the conference. Each golfer completed the 18 hole tournament with scores of 79 before Smiley prevailed in a one hole playoff. A playoff also ensued for the 3rd and 4th place spots in the conference. That playoff was won by Glidden-Ralston's Evan Arrellano over Exira-EHK's Chance Lauritsen. Each of those golfers totalled an 81 stroke total. Other all-conference boys performers were Brady Frum (5th, 83) of Exira-EHK and Jared Hansen (6th, 91) from Exira-EHK.

The girls race was not nearly as closely contested as the boys. CAM/Adair-Casey's Shelby Williams won easily with an 81. Gabby Snyder of Ankeny Christian Academy took home runner-up honors by shooting 94. Exira-EHK placed golfers 3rd, 4th, and 5th in the conference respectively with Kate McAlpin (96), Jessica Wood (98), and Cassie Irlmier (99). Madison Stanley of Glidden-Ralston also placed in the top six with her 102.
