(Oakland) Two meets remain on the schedule for the Riverside boys track team. The Bulldogs will compete at Boyer Valley on Monday and then the state qualifying meet at West Harrson on Thursday.
Riverside boys track coach Burke Swenson seniors Rick Williams and Clay Harris represent the teams best chance of qualifying an athlete for the state meet.
Williams has the best throw in the shot put going into the meet while Harris has run the second best team in each the 400 and 800.
The Bulldogs will have one more meet to fine tune things before the state qualifying. That’s meet will come on Monday at Boyer Valley and will give the team an opportunity to measure up against some of the same competition they’ll see later in the week.
