(Harlan) The Harlan Cyclones won 9 events on their home track to take the top team spot in the Johnson Cyclone Relays.
Makayala Evers finished the 100 Meter Dash in a winning time of 13.31. Asia Kloewer's 28.29 was tops in the 200 Meter Dash. In the 800 Meter Run Jess Feldman was the first to cross the finish line in 2:25.82. Asia Kloewer, Mikayla Evers, Lauren Larsen, and Bailey Kuhl made up the victorious 4X200 Meter Relay, clocking 1:51.17. Courtney Scheffler teamed with Asia Kloewer, Evers, and Elle Kloewer to run 1:56.76 and win the Sprint Medley. The top Distance Medley Relay was made up of Jamie Kleffman, Hannah Havick, Jess Feldman, and Elle Kloewer (4:31.39). Harlan finished over four seconds ahead of the competition in the Shuttle Hurdle Relay with Dena Baughman, Hannah Havick, Whitney Boldan, and Courtney Scheffler. Field event wins came from Evers in the Long Jump (15-08) and Danielle Weyer in the Shot Put (33-03).
Up next for the Cyclones is the Drake Relays beginning today. Harlan has six events qualified for Drake.
