(Harlan) Glenwood has had a strangle hold on most meets run in southwest Iowa when it comes to boys track over the past few years. Harlan has been among the teams pushing the Rams the last couple of seasons and the Cyclones took a big step Tuesday with a win at Lewis Central's Co-Ed Meet.
Harlan posted 141 points to finish eight points ahead of runner up Glenwood's 133. Finishing 3rd was Abraham Lincoln with 113. Rounding out the top five were St. Albert and Lewis Central in the 9 team field.
Harlan's win was bolstered by Jacob Feldman and Nic Hough going 1-2 in the 800, Philip Sciranko winning the 1,600 and placing 2nd in the 3,200, Austin Hess winning the 110 Meter High Hurdles, and Tony Dawson clearing the highest mark in the High Jump.
Relay wins for Harlan came in the 4X100, 4X400, and Shuttle Hurdle.
