(Griswold) Griswold will be among the many teams that KSOM will be tracking at Saturday's district wrestling tournament in Corning. The Tigers will have five individuals take the mat on Saturday afternoon.

Zach Vance is 28-9 at 126. The favorite at that weight is Underwood superstar senior Andrew Foutch (47-0 , #1 ranked). Foutch is closing in on T.J Sebolt's (Centerville) career wins record of 207. Other wrestlers at 126 include Grant Staats (27-16) of Mount Ayr and Tucker Patrick (26-7) from Guthrie Center.

30-14 Austin Dollen will represent the Tigers at 132. He'll face 41-5 Erik Freed of Mount Ayr in the first round. After that Dollen could see 28-15 Kyle Chlafant of Guthrie Center or 44-8 Clay Harris of Riverside.

Coach Sam Collora says 10th ranked Tanner Potter is the favorite at 138. He has defeated both 28-14 Jared Thompson of Nodaway Valley and 38-6 Lane Stortenbecker of East Mills, but has not faced 14-2 Hunter Grunsted of Panorama.

The remining two Griswold wrestler just may have the two toughest weight classes in the tournament. Josh Metheny (28-21) at 145 will meet up first with #2, 43-1 Ryan Joint of West Central Valley. The favorite on the other side of the bracked is 36-3 Cody Kingery of Underwood.

Heavyweight Jacob Steinback has two ranked wrestlers in his bracket with #4, 45-2 Dillon Suhr of Guthrie Center and #7, 44-1 David Howell of East Mills.
