(Neola) Tri-Center seniors Britton Barrier and Doug Hoke each signed a letter of intent Wednesday morning. The pair will head to Sioux City in the fall to become Morningside Mustangs.

Barrier passed up some NCAA Division II offers to sign with a Mustang team that played for an NAIA national Championship last season. He was a four year starter at quarterback in high school but has the versatility to play a number of different positions at the next level.

Hoke emerged during his junior and senior seasons as a wingback with great speed. He rushed for 883 yards this season with 11 touchdowns averaging 8.5 yards per carry.

Barrier says Running Back Caden McDonald and Offensive Lineman Logan Melby of Logan-Magnolia are also expected to sign with Morningside.
