(Adair) Adair-Casey improves to 17-0 on the season with their 54-33 win over Riverside Saturday.
The game was close in the first quarter, but a Bomber 18-0 run early in the second quarter quickly put the game out of reach. Adair-Casey forced several steals in their full court press which led to good looks on the offensive end. Quinn Ruth led the way with 18 points and London Vais scored 15. Riverside's leading scorer in the game was Rachel Faga with 14. Katie Clarke and Shelby Williams each scored 7.
Adair-Casey is the only undefeated team in Class 1A girls basketball after #1 ranked Bedford went down on Friday night. The Bombers have four games remaining in the regular season to try to run the table unblemished. The team faces road trips to Orient-Mackburg, Murray and Tri-Center. They will close out the regular season with a home contest against Paton-Churdan. Riverside drops to 5-13 this season.
