(Griswold) Tyrel Peters scored 19 points, Devin Bates delivered 18, and Jacob Maass added a dozen in Griswold's 77-65 win against Missouri Valley. The victory improves Griswold's win-loss record to 4-11. The Tigers are 3-8 in the conference standings.
Tuesday's win over Missouri Valley came thanks in large part to a 27 point second quarter. The Tigers outscored the opponents 27-9 in the second period to turn a two point first quarter lead into a much more comfortable 42-22 halftime advantage. Keying the offense was a red-hot shooting touch from the field. Griswold went 30-49 from the floor, that's 61% shooting as a team.
Griswold plays at Tri-Center on Friday and then returns home for a non-conference game with Bedford on Saturday.
