(Elk Horn) Adair-Casey improves to 13-0 overall and takes a two game lead in the Rolling Hills Conference standings. They senior class also pulled off a couple of firsts with their 47-39 win over Exira-EHK. They not only one at Elk Horn for the first time in their career, but they swept the Spartans this season which was something they had not been able to do prior to this season.
Adair-Casey went on a 10-0 run late in the first quart and early into the second quarter to grab a 17-7 lead only to see Exira-EHK claw back and tie things up at halftime. In the third quarter, the Bombers started on a 4-0 run, but again saw Exira-EHK come back and make it a one point game going into the 4th quarter. The Spartans however could never get over the hump. Liz Mulder and Katie Clarke each scored 13 for 6th ranked Adair-Casey in the win.
