(Stanton) Stanton's Ragen Anderson connected on 9-17 shots from the field including 7-12 from three point range in the Viqueens 78-36 win over Sidney.
The 25 point total is not a season high for the senior who posted 27 points against Corning and is averaging 16.6 per game this season. Carmen Subbert helped the cause with a double-double 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists. Stanton got off to a good start in the first quarter and had an even better second quarter. The squad turned a 17-5 first quarter lead into a 45-16 halftime edge thanks to a 28 point second quarter. Sarah Sedurberg and Rachel Sorenson were both in double figures as well.
Stanton improves to 7-2 on the season. They are scheduled to play 6-2 Fremont-Mills on Thursday. Fremont-Mills is coming off of a win over Villisca earlier this week.
