(Neola) Christian Way connected on seven of his nine three-point attempts to lift Tri-Center past Audubon 81-32 on Tuesday. Tri-Center shot 56% from the floor including 52% beyond the arc in the win. The Trojans move to 4-0 on the season.
The game against Audubon is one of three this week for the Trojans who will also take on Clarinda Academy and Riverside. The Riverside game on Friday matches up the top two teams in the Western Iowa Conference standings and will air on KSOM.
Tri-Center coach Chad Harder says some of the early season bright spots include how hard the team is playing and the way the bench is performing. Another key for the Trojans is the play of Britton Barrier who is averaging nearly a triple-double. Barrier through the first four games of the year has averages of 22.8 points per game, 9 rebounds per game, and 8 assists per game.
