(Harlan) Harlan finished fifth overall in the Class 3A Girls State Cross Country meet Saturday at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge. The Cyclones were led by Senior Jessica Feldman (pictured) who finished 6th in the team placing and 11th overall. The balance of the Cyclone runners who scored include; Sophomore include; Sophomore, Marrissa Klindt 30, Freshman, Mecerdes Mayberry31, Junior Baily Kuhl, 37th, and Senior Dru Beach, 49.


Rachel Pauley and Chantel Schmidt also competing for the Cyclones finished 82nd and 95th respectively.

Decorah won the team title with 63-points, MOC-Floyd Valley second with 85, Davenport Assumption came in third with 93-points, Solon, fourth, 151, and Harlan finished fifth with 153-points.


Shenandoah-Essex finished 13th with 328-points. Megan Hart, 40, Mariah Johnson, 61, Jasmine Glasgo, 72, Frannie Clark, 77, Angela Ray, 78, Erica Musinger, (91), and Alexis Saner, (94).
