Class 3A District 1
Harlan, ADM, Creston and Lewis Central have all clinched a playoff spot. Harlan, ADM, and Creston all still have a chance at the District Championship. Harlan needs a win over ADM and a Creston loss to Lewis Central. ADM simply needs to beat Harlan. Creston needs a victory over Lewis Central and an ADM loss to Harlan.
Class 3A District 2
Bishop Heelan Catholic has clinched the district championship. LeMars and Carroll are both in. They go head to head Friday night, the winner is the #2 seed while the loser is the #3 seed. Spencer is the #4 seed in Class 3A District 2.
Class 2A District 7
West Marshall and North Polk have clinched spots. West Marshall is the #1 seed and North Polk is #2. Nevada and Gilbert are in the driver’s seat for the #3 and #4 spots respectively. Nevada has tie break between those two teams.
Class 2A District 8
Kuemper Catholic has clinched the #1 seed. OA-BCIG would be the district runner-up with a win over Greene County this week. Red Oak and Shenandoah go head to head this Friday night with the winner likely claiming the final playoff spot.
Class 1A District 2
IKM-Manning has clinched a district championship and St. Edmond is the runner up. Ridge View and Manson, NW Webster are the other two playoff teams.
Class 1A District 7
Mount Ayr and Van Meter have the #1 and #2 seed locked up. Ogden and Pella Christian are in position of the #3 and #4 seeds.
Class 1A District 8
St. Albert, Tri-Center, Panorama, and West Central Valley have all clinched playoff spots. St. Albert is the district champion. Tri-Center right behind at 4-1 in the district with Panorama and West Central Valley both being 3-2.
Class A District 7
Woodward Granger is the champion of Class A District 7. The runner-up is unclear at this point. Madrid and Bedford are each 4-2. Audubon and Woodward-Academy are both 3-3. A lot can happen depending on this Friday night. Madrid would claim the #2 seed with a win over Guthrie Center. Bedford and Woodward-Academy will be in if they both win. Audubon needs a win and some (Bedford and/or Woodward Academy losses) help to make the playoffs.
Class A District 8
Griswold and Logan-Magnolia go head to head Friday night with the winner claiming the district title. AHST and Underwood have each clinched spots.
Class 8-Player District 6
Murray, Adair-Casey, Colo-Nesco, and Lamoni are all in. Murray is the champion and Adair-Casey is the runner up.
Class 8-Player District 7
Exira-EHK and Glidden Ralston are the only teams that have clinched. The Spartans secured the district title with their win over Ar-We-Va in Week 8. Glidden-Ralston is guaranteed the #2 seed. Boyer Valley, Coon Rapids-Bayard, and Woodbine are all tied for the last two spots.
Class 8-Player District 8
Sidney needs a win over CAM to be the district Champion. Fremont-Mills currently sits in 2nd place. CAM and Lenox are both in. Lenox will be the #4 seed.
