(Audubon) To clinch a playoff spot in the 2012 season the Audubon Wheelers are going to need some help. There are a variety of scenarios that would land the Wheelers in the playoffs and most of them require Audubon to win the remaining two games on their schedule. Those games come against Martensdale-St. Mary's in Week 8 and Earlham in Week 9.
Against Martensdale-St. Mary's, Audubon will be looking to bounce back from a sluggish performance against Woodward-Academy the previous week. Audubon turned the ball over eight times in the 22-29 defeat.
Despite the tough loss Coach Monte Riebhoff says his squad goes into the Martensdale St. Marys game with confidence. He looks for the team to be able to run the ball well against the Blue Devils just like Guthrie Center and Bedford have done in the last two weeks.
