(Neola) Tri-Center bounced back in a big way during Week 6. The Trojan's were coming off of an 11 point loss to St. Albert the previous week and left little doubt that they were goin to get back into the win column. They trounced Nodaway Valley 57-7. It's the third time this season they have put up at least 50 points.

On only six carries, senior Doug Hoke was able to post 147 yards rushing and found his way into the end zone two times. One TD came on a 43 yard run and the other was a 46 yard punt return. Hoke also caught one ball for 57 yards. Add it all up and the speedster had 250 all-purpose yards with an average of 31.25 yards per touch. Quarterback Britton Barier had another efficient night. The four year starter passed only 4 times but completed two of them for 60 yards and one touchdown. His big production came on special teams where he returned a kickoff for 84 yards and a punt for 15. 328 yards was what Tri-Center ended up with as a team. Ben Wellman was a big part of that with 93 yards and three scores.

Tri-Center goes to 4-2 overall. Nodaway Valley is stilling for their first win of the season. Missouri Valley, Panorama, and West Central Valley remain on Tri-Center's schedule.
