(Council Bluffs) With lopsided wins over Panorama and West Central Valley, Saint Albert is looking good in the district pictures. The Falcons are the only team in the district that are 2-0. The other teams without a district loss are Tri-Center and Missouri Valley (both 1-0).
Saint Albert and Tri-Center go head to head Friday night in a matchup that, when all is said and done, may end up representing the top two seeds in the district. Both teams coming into this game with a lot of momentum. Saint Albert has won their first two district games by a combined 103-7. However, Falcon head coach Kevin Culjat says Tri-Center will test his team's high powered offense. Tri-Center is averaging 51 points per game in their three wins.
A 3-0 start to district play would give Saint Albert a big leg up on the rest of the district with only six total district games. The Falcons check in at #7 in this week's Sports Spotlight rankings.
