(Guthrie Center) Guthrie Center enters the 2012 football season with an extremely challenging schedule. The Tigers, who have three teams in their district (Class A District 7) ranked in the top ten, will start the season off against highly touted Panorama on Friday.
Guthrie Center coach Bob Bolton says Panorama will be very tough again this year. One concern for Guthrie Center is their lack of depth. The motto for the team this year is to get better in every practice and get better in every game. So far coach Bolton says the team has accomplished that goal.
Guthrie Center's district schedule includes five playoff teams from a year ago plus an Audubon team that comes down from Class 1A District 8.
