(Anita) In a matchup that came with alot of preseason build-up, Adair-Casey defeated CAM 52-26 in Week 0. The two teams did not disappoint with both teams showing big play ability. Eight of the 11 touchdowns came from more than 20 yards out. The two teams played very evenly in the first half before Adair-Casey took control in the later stages of the game.

The Bombers scored first on a 44 yard pass from Gunnar Dinkla to Jordan Wheatley with 4:54 to go in the first. Adair-Casey added to their lead with a Traeton Jensen four yard touchdown run less than four minutes laterr. CAM wasted little time digging out of the 14-0 defecit, as Dylan Amdor scored on the very next play after the Jensen TD run. Amdor went 65 yards down the right sideline to make it a 14-6 game. Adair-Casey sophomore Emmit Wheatley kicked a 45 yard field goal for the Bombers with 9:26 to go in the first half, but CAM would get the last two scores of the opening half to take an 18-17 advantage at the break. Dylan Amdor scored on a 37 yard run and then again on a three yard scamper.

In the second half Adair-Casey came out with a dedication to the run that took control of the clock and the game. Traeton Jensen scored his second TD of the game when he went for 61 yards on a quarterback sweep. Star running back Clayton Plowman continues to excel as the game wore on. The junior ran for over 200 yards in the game and scored all three TD's in the second half with scores from 28, 22, and 5 yards out. CAM only managed one second half score and that came on a 31 yard scramble from quarterback Trevor Mckee. Adair Casey would also add another score from Traeton Jensen with just over three minutes left in the game to make it a 52-26 final.

Adair-Casey is 1-0 going into their home opener with Colo-Nesco next week. 0-1 CAM will take out their frustration on River Valley in Week 1.
