(Madison, WI) Running for the first time since April 21st, University of Iowa Junior Jordan Mullen placed fifth in the 110 Meter High Hurdles at the Big Ten Conference Championships. Mullen returned from a hamstring injury and ran a 13.97 in the finals.
Mullen, who broke the state meet record in the 110 highs while competing for Atlantic High School, is one of three Iowa Hawkeyes to place in the event at the Big Ten Meet. Fellow Junior Ethan Holmes, of Clinton, was the runner up in 13.74. U of I senior Dan Davis placed sixth in 14.05.
Iowa will begin the first round of the NCAA Championships on Thursday, May 24th in Austin, Texas.
