(Atlantic) Atlantic scored 61 points to place fourth behind Abraham Lincoln, Harlan, and defending state champion Glenwood in the Trojan/Trojann Co-Ed relays Monday night in Atlantic.
The Trojans strength was in the field events where they won three of their four events on the night. Sam Markham won the Long Jump, Tyler Hovey took top honors in the shot and disc, while senior Blake Esbeck crossed the finish line first in the 800M Run.
Markham, who splits time between golf and track, was competing in just his third meet of the season. The junior topped his season best of 21-03 by leaping 21-06.5.
