(Audubon) Audubon Junior Andy Hoffman torched the nets Thursday night with 23 first half points as the Wheelers picked up their fourth win of the season. Hoffman went 4-4 from long range in the first quarter and continued his hot shooting in the 2nd period with seven made three-pointers by halftime.

After leading 18-14 after one quarter, Audubon outscored Villisca 24-7 in the second quarter to open up the game. The Wheeler raced out to a 42-21 lead at halftime, added to the lead in the third quarter, and closed out the game in the fourth with a 71-48. Outside of Hoffman's 23 point game, Andrew Irlmeier (18) and Amos Weiland (10) were also in double figures for Audubon.

Villisca was led by point guard Travis Herzberg who scored 17 of his 19 points in second half before fouling mid-way through the fourth quarter. Villisca falls to 7-10 overall and will take on South Page Friday night. Audubon is now 4-12 heading into their game with Underwood Friday.
