(Atlantic) The Atlantic boy’s basketball team notched their 7th straight win Thursday night 70-29 over St. Albert at Atlantic. The Trojans, who never trailed in the game jumped out to a 10-1 lead and closed out the first quarter leading 18-4. Atlantic extended that lead to 37-15 at the halftime break, and 48-19 after three quarters.
Sam Markham led Atlantic in scoring with 17-points, Dalton Franken scored 16, and Stuart Hoegh ended the night with 11-points. Other scorers for the Trojans were, Blake Esbeck, 6-points, Chad Christensen, 5-points, Gunnar Blum, 5-points, Jared Fulk scored 4-points, Harrison Hoegh had 3-points, Tyler Hovey 2, and Mitch Lieferman finished the game with 1-point.
St. Albert was lead by Connor Thomas with 10-points.
Atlantic extends their record to 12-2, St. Albert falls to 5-7 on the year.
