(Oakland) In a game that aired on KSOM Friday night it was Riverside topping Tri-Center 66-54. 6'7" Junior Rick Williams scored 21 second half points and grabbed every rebound in sight on his way to a 31 point and 20 rebound effort.
After an 8-8 tie at the end of the first quarter, Riverside went into halftime with a 30-24 lead. The Bulldogs would build a lead of as many as 17 points in the second half and were in control for most of the rest of the game. Tri-Center did cut the game to nine points late in the third quarter. Tri-Center's Britton Barrier led the second half charge finishing with 29 points in the game. The Junior point guard scored 19 of the Trojan's 30 second half points.
Riverside is now 10-2 on the season after picking up a win over Logan-Magnolia on Saturday. Tri-Center fell to 7-5 overall this year with Friday's loss to Riverside.
