(Neola) Friday night in Neola it was Tri-Center winning both the girls and the boys games at home over AHST.


The girls game was close throughout the entire contest with Tri-Center hanging on at the end for a 37-33 win. Tri-Center moves to 6-3 with the win and AHST falls to 5-6. Shelby Sullivan scored a game high 12 points. All of Sullivan's scoring came after halftime. Courtney Kardell was the leading scorer for AHST with 11.

In the boys game Tri-Center picked up a 62-42 to move to 6-3. AHST led early on and trailed by just one point entering the final quarter. The fourth quarter however belonged to Tri-Center. The Trojans outscored AHST 23-4 over the games final eight minutes. Ryan Messerschmidt had 21 points and Britton Barrier finished with 17. AHST is now 2-7 overall this season. Tyler Robinson led the scoring for the Vikings with 11 points in the loss.

The Tri-Center boys and girls teams will play Atlantic in a double header on Monday night. KS95.7 will air both games. Tom Robinson and Rich Mitchell will be on the call. Pregame starts at 5:45 Monday from Atlantic.
