(Harlan) Following a 13 point loss to defending Class 2A state champions OA-BCIG on Tuesday, the Harlan Cyclones get back to their Hawkeye-10 Conference schedule with a game against Denison-Schleswig tonight.
Harlan is led in scoring this season by Josie Esser averaging 11.3 points per game. Senior Sarah Konz averages just under 10 points per game on the season. Coach Vis says his team is still looking for a go to scorer and added that the Cyclones will not be playing their best basketball until after the holiday break.
Harlan and Denison-Schleswig are two of the five remaining teams in the Hawkeye 10 Conference that have not lost a conference game this year.
