(Audubon) Tri-Center has won four straight softball games to improve to 8-6 overall on the season and 8-4 in Western Iowa Conference play. The Trojans won game one 11-1 and followed it up with a 9-6 triumph in game two.

In the first game all nine starters were on base at least twice. Kelly Manhart, Megan Rohatch, and Hannah Fox all scored two runs each while the bottom of the order provided the RBI's. The 5-9 hitters in the order combined for 8 runs driven in with Stephanie Nelson, Hailee Hansen, and Brenna Rodenburg driving in two runs each. Tri-Center had 10 hits and 10 walks in the win. They scored three runs in the first, one in the third, four in the fourth, and three in the fifth.

Brenna Rodenburg allowed only two hits and one walk to pickup the win in the circle. Emily Haubrich scored the lone run for Audubon, she doubled and came around to score on wild pitches. Madison Hagedorn had the only other Audubon hit in the first game.

Game two was much more competetive. Tri-Center raced out to a 3-0 lead only to see Audubon tie it at 3 in the bottom of the third inning. Tri-Center responded immediately with a 3 run 4th to reclaim the lead. They would never trail the rest of the way. Audubon did close the gap to as close as one run at 6-5 in the 4th, but Tri-Center added single runs in the 5th, 6th, and 7th, to claim the 9-6 victory.

Audubon drops to 2-11 on the season.
