(Avoca) Trailing by one run heading into the bottom of the 7th inning, AHST was able to rally back for a win over Riverside Wednesday in Western Iowa Conference baseball action.

The Vikings got a game tying hit from Dylan Robinson and then a game winning hit by Steven Jacobsen to down the Bulldogs 5-4. The win sends AHST to 4-2 on the season. The squads only setbacks have come against Griswold last week and Tri-Center, who they split a doubleheader with on Monday.

In addition to the big hits by Robinson and Jacobsen, Nathan Eggers delivered a key RBI single earlier in the game. AHST scored two runs in the 3rd to gab a 3-1 advantage, but Riverside slowly chipped away and led 4-3 through five before the Vikings rallied at the end.

Next up for the Vikings is a trip to Audubon on Friday. The Wheelers are 1-3 so far this year.
