Nebraska man arrested following a pursuit in Mills County

(Glenwood) A Nebraska man was arrested following a pursuit in Mills County on Tuesday.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says 41-year-old Jacob Tuttle, of Omaha, was driving a 2013 Nissan on 195th Street at an excess speed of 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. Law enforcement attempted to pull Tuttle over, but Tuttle attempted to elude law enforcement reaching speeds in excess of 100 mph northbound on 195th Street. Tuttle approached the intersection of 195th Street and Bunge Avenue and failed to make the turn. The vehicle entered the north ditch and came to rest in a field north of the ditch. No injuries were reported.

The vehicle was reported stolen from Omaha, Nebraska on November 24th.

Tuttle was arrested on charges of Theft 2nd, Eluding, Controlled Substance Violation, OWI 1st, Felon in Possession of Firearm, Interference with Official Acts, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device, Failure to Maintain Control, Speeding and No Valid Driver’s License. He was held on $50,000 bond.
