(HARLAN) The Harlan Police Department reports five arrests.
On Saturday, 19-year-old Siarra Means of Cumberland and 22-year-old Nicholas Seyler of Griswold were both arrested after Means was observed drinking alcohol under legal age. Both individuals were transported to the Shelby County Jail where Means was charged with Minor in Possession of Alcohol, Public Intoxication, and Interference with Official Acts. Seyler was charged with Public Intoxication, Supplying Alcohol to Persons Under Age and Interference with Official Acts.
Forty nine year old John Piper of Defiance was arrested Saturday for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxication, Failure to have a Valid Driver’s License and Open Container, driver. He was transported to the Shelby County Jail.
Also on Saturday, 49-year-old Bruce Coenen of Harlan was arrested following a traffic stop for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, 2nd Offense. He was transported to the Shelby County Jail.
Forty seven year old Michel Anderson of Harlan was arrested on July 31st following a disturbance at his residence. Anderson was charged with Assault Causing Injury when he allegedly got into an argument with his daughter.
And on July 27th, 26-year-old Tiffanie Newcomb of Harlan was arrested on an active warrant for Probation Revocation. She was transported to the Shelby County Jail.
