SEVEN PEOPLE INJURED IN BOONE COUNTY ACCIDENT
(BOONE CO.) A two vehicle accident in Boone County sent seven people to the hospital Wednesday.
The Iowa State Patrol says 26-year-old Ashley Sabatka of Omaha was driving a 1998 Toyota Avalon southbound on Snedden Drive and failed to yield from a stop sign. Sabatka’s vehicle was struck broadside by a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by 20-year-old Sarah Conry of Harlan who was traveling westbound on Highway 30.
Ashley Sabatka was transported to Mercy Hospital by helicopter. Sarah Conry, 5-year-old Nathan Sabatka of Omaha, 21-year-old Monica Madsen of Melbourne, 20-year-old Rose Koester of Gladbrook, 26-year-old Amanda Valentin of Ames, and 20-year-old Jacqueline Carlson of Red Oak, were all transported to area hospitals by ambulance.
