(Atlantic) Atlantic City Administrator Doug Harris says he has been in discussion with C.G.I. Communications to add a video feather for the Cities, Chambers, and CADCO Websites.
"It's meant to showcase Atlantic to visitors and helped retract residences and businesses," said Harris.
Harris explained that this venture is through the League of Cities and they are doing about a dozen of these throughout the state.
"This is at no charge to the city and they will do two-or-three one-minute video clips and interviews with elected officials. They will also try and showcase education, housing and other recreational opportunities and what we think are the highlights of the community."
Harris says he has checked with the National League of Cities to make sure it was valid and noted that the Better Business Bureau spoke very highly of them.
"They can set up podcasts to reach a broader audience if we want, however it would be an additional charge." stated Harris. " I know the chamber had already talked about using video's to help market the city and maybe we can piggy back together and reach a wider audience. But anyway it looks like a good opportunity."
Harris says C.G.I. also offers additional services such as tour books.
