IOWA DOT TO HOLD ANOTHER EMERGENCY BID LETTING
(AMES) The Iowa Department of Transportation will be holding another emergency bid letting related to the Missouri River flooding at 11 am today.
As a flood mitigation effort, the Iowa DOT is proposing to raise the grade of southbound Interstate 29 about one foot using hot-mix asphalt from milepost 103 to 104 in Monona County, south of the Blencoe interchange. The length of the project is approximately 4,200 feet.
A notice to contractors was provided Wednesday and any interested contractors asked to order project plans from Bid Express.
