(Red Oak) A Papillion, Nebraska woman was cited for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign following a two vehicle accident in Montgomery County this (Tuesday) morning.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says the accident occurred at around 9:56 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 34 and Highway 48. 58-year-old Heidi Adams was driving a 2009 Hyundai Elantra and stopped at the eastbound stop sign of the intersection. Adams pulled into the intersection and struck a southbound 1993 Ford Ranger, driven by 74-year-old Fred Espinosa of Red Oak. Authorities say no injuries were reported.
Adams’ vehicle sustained an estimated $6,500 damage. Espinoa’s vehicle sustained an estimated $1,300 damage. Adams was cited for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign.
