(Atlantic) A Menlo woman suffered minor injuries in a single vehicle accident in Cass County Saturday.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the accident occurred at around 9:10 p.m. near Olive Street and Echo Road. 55-year-old Diane Marie Nosbisch was driving a 2009 Nissan Altima northbound on Olive Street when she lost control on the snow covered roadway and entered the west ditch.
The damage to Nosbisch’s vehicle was estimated at $4,500.
The snow covered roads caused another accident at around 10:52 p.m. Saturday on Tucson Road, about a quarter of a mile east of 620th Street. 46-year-old Sharon Renee Allison, of Red Oak, was driving a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer when her vehicle spun out on the snowy roadway and entered the south ditch. No injuries were reported. The damage to Allison’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500.
