ONE INJURED IN RED OAK ACCIDENT
(Red Oak) One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday evening in Red Oak.
According to Red Oak Police, 86-year-old Marilyn Jean Mullins, of Red Oak was injured in the accident that occurred at around 6:20 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 34 and Eastern Avenue. Mullin was transported to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Police, Mullins was southbound on Eastern Avenue when her vehicle was struck broadside by a westbound pickup driven by 42-year-old Jeffrey Blount, of West Des Moines.
Mullins car received $12,000 damage. Blount’s pickup sustained $8,000 damage.
