(Walnut) The Walnut City Council set a public hearing date to receive comments on the proposed fiscal year 2014-2015 budget at their meeting last night.
Walnut City Clerk Terry Abel said they have plans for some downtown revitalization projects, but they are working on getting some grant funding, as well as utilizing some money they have already been saving, to use toward the projects. Therefore, Abel said their projected budget and levy will remain about the same. The public hearing has been scheduled for March 6th at 5:00 p.m.
